Alimentourism Management
OBJECTIVES

It discusses the key factors for proper development of food tourism. Through the “Alimentourism” model, it presents the key factors for success in the creation and management of food tourism.

The program provides a management liaison and cooperation between the world of tourism and agri-food world, at all stages of the food chain.

We present the models for a better understanding of the culture of teamwork and collaborative innovation through the teaching models and management "The Teamwork Tower” and “Co-innovation”.

The program includes knowledge of methods, techniques and specific worldwide case studies, which permit to develop a range of tourist services based on the appeal of foods.

It includes all different types of Alimentourism, from its initial phase (agri-food tourism), during the distribution and marketing stage (tourism fairs and markets), to its consumption phase(Gastronomic tourism), and under its different aspects (economic, social, cultural and experiential).

It is designed for entrepreneurs, for responsible of visitor’s center and for regional tourism promoters with its own food products.

The program gives special attention to the Wine Tourism as is now in a more advanced stage of development worldwide.
